It's another busy week, and so I only have a moment to write, but I just want to be sure everyone knows about the exciting Democratic victory in the special election in Mississippi yesterday. Travis Childers was elected to fill a vacant seat that had been held by the Republican Congressman who replaced Trent Lott in the Senate. I wish the best to my new Democratic colleague and am looking forward to continuing our party's efforts to build our majority in the fall.
